Professor Wallace Ford appointed to the Board of Directors of the State of New York Mortgage Agency
MEC Public Administration Professor Wallace Ford was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of the State of New York Mortgage Agency (SONYMA). offers low-interest mortgage loans and programs to help qualified buyers purchase a home.
Ford was nominated by Temporary President of the New York Senate, Andrea Stewart-Cousins, and appointed by New York Governor Kathy Hochul. As a member of the board, he will be instrumental in the agency鈥檚 oversight, helping to establish best practices and procedures.
