Dr. Patricia Ramsey Named to Latest City & State Higher Education Power 100 List

For the second consecutive year, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø President Dr. Patricia Ramsey made the City & State Higher Education Power 100 list. This annual tally recognizes New York State’s most influential academic leaders making the biggest differences, both on campus and off, whether it’s spurring job growth, advocating for policy changes or positioning their institutions as engines of economic mobility. The list, primarily made up of New York’s higher education leaders, also features lawmakers, labor leaders, philanthropists, advocates, and other players in the world of postsecondary education.
President Ramsey became the first woman to lead ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø when the CUNY Board of Trustees appointed her as the institution’s sixth president. She is in good company on the list as other notable names that made the cut include CUNY Chancellor Félix Matos RodrÃguez and CUNY Board of Trustees Chair William Thompson Jr.
